Student Rules & Regulations
Discipline, etiquette, and courtesy play a large part in any martial art, and Tae
Kwon-Do is no exception. The following rules and
regulations are to be carefully practiced.

All students must have a valid
AMA Tae kwon-do licence.
|
|
2.
|
Students must wear the official
ITF dobok during lessons in Hay Harris Tae kwon-do
Academy. Beginners are allowed to be without a
dobok during a trial period. Suitable clothing are
allowed eg loose jog trouser and tee-shirt.

3.
|
All students must observe the
following safety guidelines and any other safety
rules given to the instructor:

Free sparring must be practised
using the appropriate safety equipment. Head,
hand, foot pads, and groin guard for males.
Optional equipments e.g. shin guard, forearm guard
and mouth guard, under instructor supervision only. |

Do not wear jewellery or
watches during training. |
|

|
During free sparring, students
must not loose temper, heavy contact , kick below
the belt, grabbing or pushing and sweep. |
|

|
Toenails and fingernails must
be kept short especially for those practising free
sparring. |
|

|
If you are on medication or
suffer from injury or illness you must inform the
instructor. |
|

|
Food and drinks are not allowed
in the training hall, except water, especially in
the summer time. |
|

|
Always ask permission to join
or leave the class. |
|

|
Do not behave in way that
endangers other members of the class. |
|
|
