Conduct in the Dojang (Training
Hall)
Student should endeavour to arrive at least 10 minutes before lesson time to enable lesson fees to be paid, registration to be done, and any other administration.

Upon entering and leaving Dojang bow to the room and greet the instructor/seniors and say
'TAEKWON'. |

No shoes to be worn during training with the exception of the martial arts shoes. |
|

|
No horseplay, running, whistling or loud talking in the Dojang. |
|

|
Tae Kwon-Do uniform must be worn with the belt tied on correctly. |
|

|
Before the class commences and when it finishes, form orderly lines facing the instructor, with the most senior student standing to their right, and the remainder lining up from right to left in order of seniority. |

At the beginning and end of the class, the most senior student calls the class to attention with the command (CHARYOT) followed by Boosabum (1st-3 rd degree Instructor), Sabum (4 th-6 th degree Instructor), Sahyun (7 th-8 th degree Master), or Saseong (9th degree Grand Master), which ever appropriate. He or She gives the command to bow to the instructor (KYONG-YE ), as they bow all students say TAEKWON. |

While in the Dojang, always address the instructor as Sir or Mr/Miss/Mrs using the instructor surname. |
|

Any student who is late for class must get the instructors permission and bow to the instructor before joining the class at the back. |
|

|
Students should never leave class for a break, water, toilet, or an early dismissal without permission. |
